The night we dress up, hand out awards, and close out the term together.
At the end of every spring semester we trade the field and the campground for a venue, a dress code, and an actual sit-down dinner. Banquet is the last thing we do together as an organization before the term ends and a new e-board takes over.
The heart of the night is the awards. Over the course of the year, members show up in ways that do not always get noticed publicly; running committees, filling gaps, being the person who brings twelve people to every event. Banquet is where that gets said out loud, in front of everyone.
It is also a goodbye. Seniors get their moment, the outgoing e-board and directors hand over the term, and the incoming leadership gets introduced. Then we eat and we take far too many photos.

Banquet is built around our members and the year they put in, so tickets go to members first. If spots remain, we open them up more broadly.
Cocktail or formal attire. Think what you would wear to a wedding. If you are unsure, ask in the group chat; somebody will send you photos from last year.
